Data is facts and statistics relating to your environment, third-party tools and vendors, and recent or historical cyber attacks. Data is important, but it’s not enough. We need to combine data with the proper context and analysis to drive our actions. Threat actors know this and use it to their advantage when conducting high-profile breaches.
